IPL 2018 RR vs SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad dominated with the bat and the ball to defeat Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) managed to defend a low total during an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 29. This is the third time in a row that they have managed to defend the low score.

Kane Williamson-led SRH dominated with the bat as well as the ball to defeat Ajinkya Rahane’s RR by 11 runs. RR captain Rahane’s 65 (not out) knock went in vain as they failed to chase the 152-run target set by SRH.

Earlier, Hyderabad rode on excellent batting by Kane Williamson and Alex Hales to post 151/7 in their 20 overs after electing to bat first. In reply, Rajasthan could only manage to reach 140/6.

With this win, SRH displaced Chennai Super Kings to grab the top spot on the IPL 2018 points table with 6 wins in 8 outings. On the other hand, RR remained at the Number 5 position with 3 victories in 7 games so far.
