Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni is one of the fittest cricketers in the world, and that he has proved to be true time and again. The 36-year-old Dhoni is not only known for his terrific performance on the field but for his lightning-fast running during the game as well.
During the IPL 2018 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), CSK skipper once again proved his fitness. Wicket-keeper Dhoni did something which is a rare sight in cricket. He ran to the boundary ropes to save two vital runs for his team.
The incident happened during the 3rd over of RCB’s innings when a top edge on the pull from Quinton de Kock went straight back over Dhoni’s head. Dhoni ran and prevented RCB from getting a boundary by flicking the ball back in the nick of time. That is the superb commitment from CSK skipper.
