Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar has billions of fans around the world. The British envy Tendulkar for his technique and the way he approached the game with ease. The highest run-scorer and batsman with most number of international centuries has found a new fan in British star Benedict Cumberbatch who will be seen playing superhero ‘Doctor Strange’ in Avengers: Infinity War.
According to IANS, Cumberbatch will be part of an episode aired on Star Sports Network over the weekend. In the show, he will also share the story when he met former Australia speedster Brett Lee during the “Avengers: Infinity War” press tour in Singapore.
Cumberbatch also revealed his favourite cricketer while growing up. “Graham Gooch was my hero when growing up. I loved playing cricket and because I was a wicket keeper, I had my eye on Jack Russell.”
