The duo carried RCB on their back during Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. They missed out on the playoffs spot by a narrow margin. But Kohli-ABD were the top-scorers for the team in the season.
Kohli scored 530 runs from 14 games at an average of 48.18 including four half-centuries. On the other hand, De Villiers scored 480 runs from 12 games at an average of 53.33 including six half-centuries. The Proteas batsman scored a half-century in the must-win game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which went in vain.
