The opening day was all about franchisees looking to form a core unit and all the focus was on the players on their must-have list. Franchises spent Rs 321.10 cr and bought 78 players from which Ben Stokes fetched highest. He was sold for Rs 12.5 cr to Rajasthan Royals.
