Kevin Pietersen has come down heavily on the English bowlers after their dismal display of bowling against Australia on Day 3 of the 3rd Test at WACA, Perth. The day belonged to Steven Smith and Mitchell Marsh. Smith brought up his 2nd double century, whereas Mitchell Marsh brought up his maiden Test century at his home ground. Australia are in the driver’s seat at stumps on Day 3, they have a handsome lead of 146 runs with 6 wickets in the kitty.

Kevin Pietersen, who has seen England-Australia cricket rivalries was quick to bash the English bowlers on their Day 3 performance. Pietersen took to Twitter and posted a pitch map of Day 3, which shows the English bowlers were unable to pitch the ball up to Marsh and were on the shorter side. Marsh, who has been born and raised on that wicket found the going easy as he is a player who thrives on playing off the backfoot. He was allowed to do that and that is what helped him reach his maiden Test match century. He is unbeaten on 181 with a double on his sights.
That’s stumps! What a day.
Steve Smith 229*. Mitch Marsh 181*.

Pietersen’s post read, “Dear Mitch Marsh, we’d like to wish you a warm welcome back to international cricket with some half volleys & throw downs with the new ball. Kind regards, England bowlers!”
