Former English batsman Kevin Pietersen is a colourful character on and off the field. Recently, he posted a picture on his Twitter handle and surprisingly called former South African great his ‘boyfriend’. They were seen in the picture in a very cosy atmosphere, probably a pub. Kevin Pietersen was carrying a bottle of champagne, that is what it looks. For the record, Kevin Pietersen played for England but was a South African born. The picture was captioned, “Tonight is going to be messy! My boyfriend @jacqueskallis75 wants some of this wonderful.” It surely seems the two South Africans are twining over champagne.
Former South African great Jacques Kallis is one of the best all-rounder’s to have played the game. Kallis was also a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in the Indian Premier League. He has played 166 Tests and scored 13289 runs at an enviable average of 55.37. He also scored 45 hundred in this format. In the limited overs format, he has played 328 ODI’s and scored 11579 runs at an average of 44.3 and it was studded with 17 hundred. He also has 292 and 273 wickets in Tests and One Day respectively. A living legend and an ambassador for certain.
Kevin Pietersen, on the other hand, likes to live life king-size, that is his style. KP, as he is popularly known as an emphatic batsman in his prime, a sheer threat to the bowlers.

This picture shows that the two cricketers (Kevin Pietersen, Jacques Kallis) are wonderful friends, or let’s say best of friends off the field, as well. The two in this picture are ambassadors to the game and have inspired many youngsters to take up to the sport. Well, also for the record, it was KP who introduced the ‘palti shot’.
Kevin Pietersen will soon be seen as a part of the broadcasting team for the Ashes.
