Indian opener KL Rahul did not duck to an unreasonable Twitter fan’s bouncer and knocked it out of the park with his sarcasm. Indian team has been under scrutiny of Twitteratis after a forgettable display of batting in Pune Test against Australia in the first Test. At first, it was Ajinkya Rahane for whom the replacement for the next Test was named soon after their batting collapsed on the second day which resulted into a 333-run loss.
The Twitter rant started when Rahul posted a screenshot with his notification bar saying that Ravichandran Ashwin followed you. His sweet tweet read, “What a start to the day, got the legend to follow me”.
To this tweet, one of Rahul’s fan told both the cricketers to leave all this and concentrate on their batting skills. This tweet infuriated Rahul as it was clearly a breach into their personal lives.
Oh my my.. what a start to the day got the legend @ashwinravi99 to follow me. #humbled #blessed pic.twitter.com/Lyf8hXlNhA

Rahul was quick on giving a fitting reply to the Twitter fan as he politely (oh, not so!) asked him to come and teach him; he kicked the sarcasm up a notch as his tweet further read that I am sure you know how to score runs.
Plz come and teach us bhai. Im sure aapko pata hain kaise banate hain runs. https://t.co/KyiuAWFusz

The Twitterati sure had it coming after invading Rahul and Ashwin’s bromance on Twitter.

Rahul scored a half-century in the first innings at Pune but did not carry his form in the second. He got injured while trying to hit the ball over the top. It is a possibility that he might not play in the second Test at Bengaluru.
Ashwin did not perform with the bat but took 7 wickets in the match. He could only manage to score 9 runs in the two innings but he sure did not deserve a direct attack from Twitterati.
