Meet Mokit Hariharan, Bowler From India Who Can Bowl With Both Arms – WATCH

18-year-old Mokit Hariharan stunned all cricket fans after he bowled with both his hands in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League, 2018

18-year-old Mokit Hariharan stunned all cricket fans after he bowled with both hands in the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2018. Playing for VB Kanchi Veerans in the third edition of the TNPL, Hariharan showed his ambidextrous abilities while playing against Dindigul Dragons.

During the game, Hariharan bowled left-arm spin to a right-handed batsman and later, bowled with his right arm when a left-handed batsman came to bat.

Hariharan, however, failed to pick up a wicket in his spell of four overs. With an economy of 8, Hariharan leaked just 32 runs.

Other than his ambidextrous abilities, Hariharan also impressed all with his batting performance. Hariharan stitched a crucial 139-run partnership with Francis Rokins to guide his team to score 166/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

Coming to bat at No 4, Hariharan remained not out at 77 in the 50 balls he played. He struck five fours and five sixes in his innings. In reply, Dindigul Dragons successfully chased down the target of 167 runs.

Despite failing to guide his team to a win with his all-round performance, the spinner drew attention with his ambidextrous efforts. Many cricket fans took to Twitter to praise Hariharan with some calling him a ‘future star’.

Following his display, Hariharan has become the second bowler from India after former veteran cricketer Hanif Mohammad to bowl with both hands. Former England cricketer Graham Gooch too had the same ability.
