How do fast bowlers bowl with such a pace? By making use of both their legs, right?
Meet Pakistan’s Syed Sher Ali Afridi. He is a 23-year-old pacer from Peshawar and is the main fast bowler of the Pakistan Disabled Cricket Team, bowling on one leg!
The tragedy happened when the mud house he was living in collapsed due to heavy rains when he was two years old. The 189 cm tall Afridi started out as a batsman only to realise that he was a better bowler.
So how did he manage to defy all odds to niche a career for himself in cricket?
