This is breaking after pulling out of the crucial Border-Gavaskar trophy, it seems the tall, fiery paced Mitchell Starc could make a comeback during the ICC Champions trophy. He picked up an injury for which he had to miss out on the crucial Ranchi Test, where Pat Cummins, his replacement did a good job. He picked up a fracture in his right foot for which he missed out on the series. There are also question marks about his availability for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the Indian Premier League.
This is not the first time, he was out of action in 2015 for eight months when he picked up the same injury in his same foot.

Elaborating about his current regime he said, “So I’m still in the gym and getting ready for when I do come back. When that might be, I see the specialist on Thursday and hopefully I’ll get a clearer picture then.”
He also said that he is looking forward to bowling to Ravichandran Ashwin when India tours the Southern Hemisphere.
About the ongoing series the speedster said, “There was a lot made of it before the series and there was so much hype before the series. I think we’ve just gone about the cricket that we have done for a long period of time now.”
