Indian pacer Mohammad Shami found himself in trouble after his wife Hasin Jahan exposed his alleged extramarital affairs by posting screenshots of his alleged chats with few women on her Facebook page on March 7. She further went on to claim that pacer’s family tortured her mentally and physically.
A day after all this hullabaloo, Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan has on March 8 launched another attack and accused her husband of ‘match-fixing’.
Jahan alleged that the Bengal pacer took money from a Pakistani woman by the name of Alishba under the influence of England-based businessman Mohammed Bhai.

“If Mohammed Shami can cheat me then he can cheat the county as well. He accepted money from a Pakistani girl named Alisbah in Dubai. He agreed to accept it after the insistence of England-based Mohammed Bhai. I have proof,” she was quoted saying to ABP.
The cricketer, who has represented India in 87 matches across all formats, however, has denied the allegations. Shami, while talking to media persons, said that he would rather die than do something like this.

“As far as the allegation of compromising my performance while playing for the country is concerned, I would rather die than do something like this,” Shami said.
Shami also stated that this is the conspiracy to ruin his career.
In 30 Test matches so far, Shami has picked 110 wickets including three 5 wickets haul. In limited over games, Shami has represented India in 50 games in which he has 91 wickets under his name with 4/35 is his best so far. In T20Is, Shami has 8 wickets in 7 matches he played for the country.
Soon after the allegation surfaced, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has put Shami’s new contract on hold.
Earlier, Shami was in Grade B of the BCCI’s contract system. He was getting Rs 1 crore per annum.
