Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has lodged an FIR to Delhi Police saying that his three mobile phones got stolen when the fire broke at Welcom Hotel, Dwarka on March 17. Dhoni was rescued from the hotel in Dwarka on March 17 early in the morning where he was staying with the Jharkhand team.
The fire department was rushed to the spot to rescue the people. According to the reports, the fire had broken out in store in Dwarka’s Welcome Hotel complex.
Dhoni was in Delhi to play in the quarter-final clash at Palam stadium near Dwarka and that is the reason why he was staying in a neighbourhood hotel near Dwarka. The Welcom Hotel is situated at Dwarka Sector-10.

The FIR will raise questions over the staff that was working there along with the Delhi Fire Services staff. Dhoni was rescued safely as the fire department was alerted soon after the fire broke out.
Dhoni has been leading Jharkhand after getting sacked from Rising Pune Supergiants captaincy. His team on March 18 lost to Bengal in the semi-final clash despite Dhoni’s quickfire half-century as they fell well short of a 300 plus target.
Dhoni recently made headlines when he was playing in Delhi, winning the game with his trademark six and treating the Palam crowd with a vintage Dhoni shot. There was an intruder in the park reported as well as he came to meet Dhoni from 3,000 kms away. Dhoni showed everyone that he has a heart of gold as he treated him with respect and shook his hand.
