MS Dhoni smashes his own head on his birthday cake, gets a special facial from Yuvraj Singh | Watch Video

MS Dhoni's birthday's dressing room celebrations were once again 'unorthodox' similar to what he does on the cricket field

Yes, you read that right, MS Dhoni smashed his own head on his birthday cake before his teammates could do it. The Indian Cricket Team Facebook page posted a video of MS Dhoni’s cake cutting ceremony where he has covered his face with paper leaving holes for his eyes and mouth. The video also shows Shikhar Dhawan’s son Zoravar seating on his father’s stomach in a joyful mode. Dhoni’s daughter Ziva too is looking cute looking around the room. Dhoni can be seen having a good time with his teammates and inspecting the cake that has been arranged.

Dhoni even had a taste of the cake before the cake cutting. He even gave a piece to teammate Hardik Pandya to eat. When everyone is looking around in anticipation of when the cake is going to be cut, skipper Virat Kohli steps in and says, “Mahi bhai, kaato aur khao”. Kohli wanted to get on with the cake and cut it quickly.

Dhoni obliges after a while as he cuts the cake with his teammates as they sing the Happy Birthday song. As soon as he felt that his teammates will be doing the ritual of smashing his head on the cake, he did the smart thing by stunning everyone. He smashed his own face on the cake which was kept beside the chocolate cake he was cutting.

But, that did not save Dhoni from his teammates as Yuvraj Singh held him and Dhawan decorating his face with what was left of the other cake. Youngster Rishabh Pant too tried to do the honours by painting Dhoni’s face with the cake.

As soon as they were finished, skipper Kohli asked Dhoni for a selfie with him. Kohli was in a playful as he did his trademark ‘tongue out’ expression which he did against Bangladesh in ICC Champions Trophy as well.

Dhoni’s wife Sakshi too joined in and clicked a selfie with daughter Ziva. Soon after Kuldeep Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane and others wanted selfies with the ‘Birthday Boy’.
