Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar were seen promoting their new show by donning the avatars of Maula Jatt and his nemesis Noori Natt

Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar have been ambassadors of fast bowling and they were expert exponents of the reverse swing. Apparently we learn that the both of them are going to be a part of a 1979 Punjabi cult classic. They are going to play Maula Jatt and his nemesis Noori Natt. Wasim Akram’s new look took his wife Shaneira Akram by surprise as she had never-ever seen her husband in that avatar. Trust me even people watching the picture for the first time, it will be difficult for them to spot Akram and Akhtar. It is Akram who posted a picture of himself to promote the duo’s upcoming show Geo Khelo Pakistan.

To this tweet of Akram, his beautiful wife also took to Twitter she tweeted a picture of him and hubby Akram in the kitchen with a bewildered look on her face. She captioned it as “The face you make when you are in the kitchen cooking and your husband comes home as Noori Nath #NawaAyaHaiSohnaya @wasimakramlive”

She did not end the rut there she in fact took it a step further and put out another tweet which read, “So you can imagine how confused I was when this guy came home from work yesterday, instead of Wasim” she captioned the tweet as.

It is good to see Akram and Akhtar are looking at a life beyond cricket as well as they foray into entertainment. There was more tongue-and-cheek to this entire episode.
