The India-Bangladesh one-off Test concluded yesterday and the result went in India’s favour as expected. Mind you, this is a young Bangladeshi unit, where some of them have just been enrolled straight from the U-19’s, hence to meet big international players is in a way a ‘awe’ moment for them, quite natural.
Virat Kohli is nothing short of a world class player, the double ton again epitomised that fact.
So here is what happened after the match.
Once the presentation and all the on-field activities were over and the players hit their locker rooms, Kohli was requsted to go in the Bangladfeshi dressing room and autograph belongings of the Bangladeshi’s. What a souveinier to posses.
Virat Kohli obliged and signed whatever was asked of him apart from getting cclicked with the Bangladeshi lads.
This will surely be a priced possession for these Bangladeshi players, even more special as this is their first trip to India in 17 years after getting Testy status.
It was also heart warming to see India’s star player being humble and obliging the young Bangladeshi’s.
Earlier Ashwin got his 250th-wicket ball signed by Mushfiqur Rahim, his 250th scalp.
So, it was a day of memorabilia’s and at the end of it all everone was happy.
