But, this time Ashwin surprised everyone with his quick response as he answered a cricket quiz within just 2 minutes. A Twitter account named Srinimama, a parody account after Indian Premier League (2017) franchise Chennai Super Kings’ owner N Srinivasan. A cricket quiz question was asked through the Twitter account which involved Ashwin. Little did the account user know that Ashwin will be quick to respond to the answer before everyone else.

Ashwin has been selected in India’s Test squad for three-Test series against Sri Lanka home starting November 16 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The all-rounder has been out of India’s limited overs side for a while now as the selectors have looked to groom Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019.
Though Ashwin made the most of the free time in hand. His County stint with Worcestershire turned out to be fruitful. He bamboozled English cricketers on their own pitches proving his efficiency on overseas pitches. He did well with the bat too scoring an half century.
