Ravichandran Ashwin commits a rare mistake, he is usually on point in his tweets, sarcastic when needed. This time around Ashwin had to be on the receiving end of it. Ashwin posted a promotional tweet of mobile company, Xiaomi trying to make a statement. But he forgot a minor thing that the phone he is using is a different brand and it shows on Twitter. Twitterati spare no one, even Ashwin could not escape their critical minds as they pointed out the mistake.
The veteran off-spinner tweeted, “There’s often a debate on reading my carrom ball but, there are some things jinpe #KoiDebateNahi! Redmi Note4: India’s No.1 selling smartphone.”
Here’s the screenshot of the deleted tweet of Ashwin as soon as he realised his mistake-

This is probably the first time Ashwin got trolled for his tweet and did not have an answer for it. Ashwin will not be featuring in the Indian side against Australia in the limited over series as he and Ravindra Jadeja have been rested. Though Ashwin was set to miss the Australia limited over series
Though Ashwin was set to miss the Australia limited over series for his commitment in the County Division 2 Championship. The 30-year-old stirred up the County scene when he picked up a five-wicket haul on his debut for Worcestershire against Gloucestershire. He picked up a total of 8 wickets on his debut and scored valuable runs in the middle order as well.
