Rishabh Pant has been a fan favourite in the ongoing India’s tour of Australia. Be it behind the stumps or with his aggression with the bat, Pant has proved his mettle. But it his banter with Australian wicketkeeper Tim Paine that has grabbed maximum eyeballs. From the ‘babysit’ comment to the ‘temporary captain’ jibe, the two wicketkeepers have been at it, making us wish for a button where we could mute commentary and just listen to them.
The 21-year-old Pant was photographed with Paine’s wife and kids after the babysitting comment and blew up to an extent that even the International Cricket Council (ICC) shared it on it’s social media pages. And now, Bharat Army has come up with a Rishabh Pant song/chant which will make fans laugh out loud.
The wicketkeeper has let his bat do the talking too, with an unbeaten 159 in the first innings today. He became the first Indian and Asian wicketkeeper to score a century in Australia. In 2018, he became the first to do it England as well. The list of records goes on and on for the youngster!
His fitness level are currently slaying as he can be seen doing backflips for fun. Looks like he is in for the long haul!
