Rohit Sharma, the star opener of the Indian Cricket Team, is currently preparing for the forthcoming bilateral series against New Zealand. Almost after a year, both the nations will be facing each other once again in the limited overs format on the Indian soil. Ahead of the first match to be played in Mumbai on October 22, the Indian opener met one of his Mumbai Indians (MI) teammates, Mitchell McClenaghan, who is one of the key bowlers of the black caps as well. Both were happy seeing each other after a long time with Rohit also taking a moment to test McClenaghan’s Hindi speaking skills.
Rohit checked how many Hindi words did McClenaghan know. On being asked to speak the Indian language, McClenaghan came up speaking two words,”Thanda Paani (Cold Water)” and “Nai, nai, nai, nai (No)”. His accent was decent and moreover, the entire conversation was interesting.
