After playing a captain’s knock in Nidahas tri-series, Rohit Sharma set an Indian batting record in T20 Internationals. Team India’s hitman surpassed Yuvraj Singh by hitting most sixes in T20I. Yuvraj has played 58 T20Is so far and hit 74 sixes.
But in the last encounter against Bangladesh on March 14, Rohit surpassed Yuvi by hitting 75 sixes in total. In the overall list of world cricketers hitting most T20I sixes, Rohit now stands at the 8th position while Yuvi is 9th.
But the table topper is ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle. In 55 T20I matches played so far, Gayle has hit 103 sixes which is the joint-most along with New Zealand’s Martin Guptill who is at the second spot, taking 75 matches to do so.
