Rohit Sharma scored his 3rd double century against Sri Lanka at Mohali in the 2nd ODI, helping India level the 3-match series against the visitors. India won the match by 147 runs. Rohit has scored his highest individual score of 264 against the same opposition, which happens to be the highest individual score in ODIs.

Rohit Sharma by scoring his 3rd ODI double century broke many records on the way. Ironically, December 13 happens to be Rohit Sharma-Ritika Sajdeh’s 2nd anniversary and we saw her break down into tears once the Indian captain brought up his 3rd double century, which also happens to be his 16th ODI century.

Here’s what happened:
India’s stand-in captain took his helmet off and gave a flying kiss to his wife sitting in the stands. His wife got a little emotional after Rohit’s gesture from the ground as she tried to hold back the tears of joy.

In the video we find Rahane and Chahal giving Rohit Sharma a facial with the cake and by the end of it all, his face is cake painted, literally!
