Rohit Sharma REVEALS how he scored 147. Can you guess who helped him?

The inning of 147 will give Rohit Sharma a lot of confidence going into the big T20I clash

Indian opening Rohit Sharma set up the Indian win along with Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma scored 147 and that set it up. Virat Kohli-led team India clinched its seventh consecutive ODI bilateral series win by defeating New Zealand by 6 runs in the 3rd ODI. Rohit Sharma was not in form ahead of this match, he had last got a century against Australia. But his form after that had dipped with scores of 11, 8, 20 and 7 (scores after the Australia ton to this ton). Experts started analysing his game, looked at different videos and then the conclusion was that his head is falling over and that is leading to many of his dismissals.

“I was watching the pre-match analysis where they said my head was falling off, so I worked slightly on it. That helped. My head was falling a bit and wasn’t coming into the line of the ball. The quickly you rectify, the better it is,” said Rohit during the post-match presentation ceremony.

“Every hundred is special, but what I was working on came off well, and that’s why I am happy. Sanjay Bangar (batting coach) helped me work on some of these things. When the things you do off the field pay off, that’s very satisfying,” added Rohit.

Team India clinched the three-match series  2-1. Delighted with the result, Rohit said: “Feels good when the team wins, and you contribute. Happy how we played through this series. NZ were very competitive, and it wasn’t easy to come and win. We had to be at our best to win.

“I enjoyed playing today in Kanpur, have good memories personally, but not for the team. Good to change that,” he further added.

Chasing a daunting target of 338 runs, the Kiwis could only manage 331/7 in their allotted 50 overs. Colin Munro (75), skipper Kane Williamson (64) and Tom Latham (65) were the major contributors for New Zealand.

For India, pacer Jasprit Bumrah scalped three wickets and leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took two.
