Rohit Sharma blazed his way to a 3rd double century in ODI cricket in the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka at Mohali. He scored 208 and remained unbeaten, creating a storm on Twitter. He scored his first hundred off 115 balls and his next 100 came off 36 balls. The second hundred comprised of four consecutive sixes as well.

Thanks to Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer’s 88, India set a mammoth 393 to win for Sri Lanka. India needs to win this match to stay afloat in the 3-match series as they lost 1st ODI at Dharamsala by 7 wickets.

Rohit Sharma hit a total of 12 sixes, which is a lot in any format. Rohit Sharma also holds the record for the highest individual score in ODIs. He scored 264 against the same opposition.
