Russel Arnold seems to be at the centre of the smog saga which happened on Day 2 of the 3rd Test at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi. He got panned by Indian fans on social media for defending Sri Lankan players for wearing masks to protect themselves from smog.
Here’s what happened:
A fan of the Indian team tweeted Sanjay Manjrekar’s statement and asked Russel Arnold to reply. He wrote:

On Day 3 of the 3rd Test at Delhi, Arnold, who is a part of the commentary team, posted a picture on his Twitter page, flaunting sunglasses.
