While every former cricketer is wishing a speedy emotional recovery for Steve Smith and David Warner, Russel Arnold, the cricketer turned commentator from Sri Lanka, tried to mock them for breaking down in front of the media. Smith and Warner faced a ban of 12-months imposed by the Cricket Australia for their involvement in the ball-tampering saga. Both of them conducted press conferences where they couldn’t control their emotions while apologising to their countrymen.

These events caught the attention of numerous cricket fans and people from the world cricket. Meanwhile, Arnold took to his Twitter account and asked the people that “Why is everyone crying?”.

This is not the first time that Russel got trolled on the social media for his tweet. In December 2017, Russel predicted that India won’t be able to whitewash Sri Lanka in the ODI series.
