Sachin Tendulkar wishes Virender Sehwag in his own style with a witty tweet which will confuse Twitterati at the first glance

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag turns 39 years old today and his idol and legend Sachin Tendulkar found a unique way to wish him. There have been many dressing room stories which claim that Tendulkar said Sehwag played his natural game throughout his career and ignored everything else. Sehwag did not even listen to his idol and continued his attacking approach on the field even when the chips were down. That’s what made Sehwag special as he did the opposite of what he was told to, even by the ‘God of cricket’. Tendulkar too found an upside down birthday wish to honour Sehwag in a single tweet.

Here’s Tendulkar’s tweet-

Tendulkar wrote the entire birthday message in reverse. The caption actually reads, “Happy Birthday, viru! have a great start to the new year, you’ve always done ulta of what i [sic] have told you on the field”.

Here are a few responses from fans to Tendulkar’s tweet-

The birthday boy has always found unique ways of wishing other cricketers. People wait for birthday wishes from Sehwag as mostly they are one-liners which go viral on social media as soon as they are posted. But, this time around Tendulkar beats him to the punch. Though Sehwag did manage to make a comeback thanking Tendulkar for his wish.

Cricketers from around the world have been wishing Sehwag on his birthday. Not just cricketers but journalists and other sportspersons wished Sehwag on Twitter. Rajat Sharma shared an interview of Sehwag where he revealed the famous ‘baap baap hota hai, beta beta hota hai’ incident involving him, Tendulkar and Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar. While others shared old photos of Sehwag when they used to play together.
