Sachin Tendulkar’s emotional post about Yuvraj Singh playing 300 ODIs for India will leave you teary-eyed

Sachin Tendulkar shared a picture of him and Yuvraj sharing a candid moment. He added the sweetest caption, tagging Yuvi on the post as well.

You know you’ve achieved something big in life when you get a special message from the Master Blaster himself. Yuvraj Singh, who has been performing well in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy, has impressed Sachin Tendulkar, who took to Instagram and congratulated him. When he played for India against Bangladesh, Yuvraj Singh completed a landmark of having played 300 ODIs.

Sachin Tendulkar shared a picture of him and Yuvraj sharing a candid moment. He added the sweetest caption, tagging Yuvi on the post as well. It reads:

“If there’s one word that personifies @yuvisofficial, it’s resilience and he embodies this spirit like nobody else. His return to the team after numerous challenges is legendary, still, makes me feel emotional about the many hurdles he has faced to get to the 300th match of his life. His career has been replete with ups and downs, but Yuvi has always addressed each stage of his life with his signature ‘never say die attitude’ and complete poise. I am sure he will bring more laurels to India with his abilities to take the game away from the opposition.”

Prior to the start of the match against Bangladesh, Indian team held a presentation where Yuvraj was given a memento by former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.

Talking about Ganguly, the aggressive Indian batsman revealed that it was Ganguly under whom his career flourished.

“My favorite captain was Sourav Ganguly. I learned a lot from him and my career flourished under him the most. He infused the feeling in us that we could win a series abroad.”

Yuvraj began his ODI career in 2000 during the ICC Knockout tournament against Kenya but didn’t get a chance to show his skills with the bat in that particular match. However, he did capitalise later as he smashed 84 against Australia in the very first innings where he got a chance to serve the Indian criket team.
