The Supreme Court will now take up the matter on January 30. Earlier, Amicus Curiae in the BCCI case Gopal Subramaniam and Anil Divanas submitted the nine names of individuals above the age of 70, which the court had categorically ruled out.
Earlier on January 2, the Supreme Court had cracked the whip on a defiant BCCI and sacked its president Anurag Thakur and secretary Ajay Shirke for not complying with its orders to implement the Lodha Committee reforms. For, now BCCI CEO Rahul Johri has been heading the board.
