Former Pakistani skipper Shahid Afridi recently took part in the first ever ice cricket tournament held in St Moritz, in Switzerland’s Engadin valley, where he led Team Royals. After the 2nd match on February 10, one of his gestures proved his respect towards India despite the diplomatic tension between both the nations.
A large number of cricket fans gathered to witness the 2nd game of the first-ever ice cricket. Some even took selfies with their favourite cricketers. Afridi was asked for a selfie by a female fan who was holding the Indian tri-colour in her hands. In her excitement to get a picture clicked with a globally renowned cricketer, the lady probably forgot to hold the flag properly. But Afridi noticed it and told her to hold it properly.
