Former Indian captain and commentator Sunil Gavaskar took a dig at Bangladesh men’s cricket team by imitating the now famous ‘Naagin dance’. He did that in the commentary box during the final encounter of the Nidahas Trophy T20 tri-series between India and Bangladesh at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on March 18 which ‘Men in Blue’ won in a last-ball thriller.
Team Bangladesh first did the ‘Naagin dance’ celebration after they won against Sri Lanka in a last over thriller to fix their place in the Nidahas Trophy T20 tri-series final on March 16.
During the 10th over of the Indian innings, Gavaskar displayed his version of ‘Naagin dance’ while he was commentating. Following this act of Gavaskar’s, almost every Indian team supporter present at the stadium performed ‘Naagin dance’.
