India was in a spot of bother when Bengal warhorse Wriddhiman Saha joined India’s number 3 Cheteshwar Pujara was grinding it there. As a matter of fact, Pujara played the most number of balls by any Indian against Australia. The score was 328 when Saha joined Pujara in the centre, India was still trailing and looking at the recent past the hosts have had quite a few collapses. So, Saha’s knock was even more timely. Pujara batted for more than 11 hours, is that not surreal. That is like he has batted for more than half a day. They added a whopping 199 runs, fell just one shy of what would have gone into the record books as one of the best partnerships ever.
The two in fact batted for 317 minutes together. That is almost five and a half hours. That is epic!
So after the batting and all the sweating, they hit the massage room. That is were they unwinded and released the stress. Saha was also keeping all the time, so his back has taken a real beating. Saha and Pujara in a picture released by the BCCI you can see Saha on the left and Pujara on the right getting a massage. Must be so relieving, one can surely understand. In the picture, you can see team India physio’s are giving them a massage trying to distress their muscles as tomorrow is a big day, Saha would be keeping and Pujara would br in catching positions near the bat.

This is a knock that will be remembered for decades. This has already been a spicy series and tommorow seems to be nothing different.
Pujara has also got more than 1000 runs this season and also got past 1000 runs against the mighty Australians.
