The cricket fans in Pakistan recently had a great time as international cricket returned to their country after a long period of eight years. The World XI cricket team members received a warm reception in Pakistan while this 3-match T20I series turned out to be a huge success. Pakistan won the series by 2-1 after defeating the guests by 33 runs in the last match held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on September 15. Some of the fans even wished if MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli were part of the World XI side while few of them trolled the Indian captain for not being a part of this tournament.
Some of the pictures doing rounds on social media explained that Virat and Dhoni have a huge fan following across the border as well.

Despite everything going positive, there was a spectator who held a placard at the Gaddafi Stadium in which it was written,” VIRAT KOHLI KO AMMI SE IJAZAT NAHI MILI (Kohli didn’t get permission from his mother to come to Pakistan)

Virat Kohli is one of those Indian cricketers who is loved in Pakistan because of the way he plays his game and the aggressive attitude he portrays on the field. Many of the Pakistani women cricketers idolises the Indian skipper.
Earlier, former Pakistani skipper, Shahid Afridi said he would have preferred if Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were also a part of the extravaganza.
