Virat Kohli makes his way into mathematical lessons, thanks to Byju's app

India's tour of Sri Lanka: Things are just on the right track for Virat Kohli as he readies for the Lankan tour which starts in 10 days time

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has almost achieved everything on the cricket field and now he turns teacher, not teacher but his lessons are now going to be a part of the syllabus. Teachers are apparently using Virat Kohli’s shots on videos to explain to the students. This was probably the only thing that was barring the living legend. His shots are used bu new-age teachers to explain students. Anita Kishore a new-age teacher is a prime example of how teachers are using Virat Kohli to simplify things for the students. Anita works for online learning app, Byju’s, she is also a gold medalist in engineering and management.

This is what she said, “We start each other with a hook question that connects with the child’s interest.”

Virat Kohli apart from bringing joy to millions of Indians is also helping students learn from his style. Virat is currently in New York and was spotted yesterday with his alleged girlfriend, Bollywood starlet Anushka Sharma shopping at a grocery store.

The app Byju’s is a digital learning app which helps students get hold of a particular topic by the help of real life experiences. They use different videos to break-down the problem so that it is easy for the students to grasp.

Things are just on the right track for Virat Kohli as he readies for the Lankan tour which starts in 10 days time. The series will have 3 Tests, 5 One Day Internationals and a one-off T20I.

Poonima Lodha, a teacher with online learning app Vedantu, had never watched a cartoon while growing up. She too uses Virat Kohli’s shots to explain. “I realised I had to explain problems and solutions in a way a student would understand,” she says.

It is strange but heart-warming to see Indian teachers using figment of imagination to teach students and prepare them for future endeavors.
