Virender Sehwag’s commentary has been loved by Indians across the world. His one-liners have been favourite of many around the world but this time he takes it to another level. Sehwag can be seen dancing in the 17th over of the second innings of New Zealand. Maybe he was ecstatic that India were finally able to beat New Zealand in a T20I match. Sehwag was doing the ‘balle-balle’ step in the commentary box while the birthday boy VVS Laxman was commentating. Also, Sehwag did a beautiful gesture for Laxman by bringing him cake on the job and decorating his face with it.
The reason behind Sehwag dancing in the commentary box was Laxman’s 43rd birthday. When the camera was panned towards Laxman, Sehwag started dancing.

Ashish Nehra’s retirement match was made memorable by Virat Kohli & Co. beating New Zealand by 53 runs. It was a flawless victory for India over the Kiwis who were outclassed in every department of the game. Though his retirement could have been even better had he got two wickets which were denied as Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni dropped catches. Nehra ended up with bowling figures of 29 for 0 in 4 overs. He bowled the last over as well and got a little emotional while bowling it.
Recently, Sehwag got a gate named after him at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. DDCA honoured him by naming Gate No.2 as ‘Virender Sehwag’ gate. Though they did make a huge blunder while doing it by writing that Sehwag is the only Indian batsman to hit a triple century in Test cricket. They got critcised for it after as Karun Nair is the second Indian batsman to score a triple century, he did against England in 2016 at M Chidambram Stadium, Chennai.
