Virender Sehwag's best tweet ever! honours Ravindra Jadeja with 'Tullu Pump' award, Steven Smith gets 'Tubelight'

Virat Kohli & Co. lifted the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by beating Australian squad by 8 wickets in the fourth and the final Test match in Dharamsala

Indian cricket lovers erupted in joy after Virat Kohli & Co. lifted the Border-Gavaskar Trophy by beating Steven Smith-led Australian squad by 8 wickets in the fourth and the final Test match in Dharamsala to claim the four match series 2-1.  This series, as expected, was full of all the ingredients to be a memorable one. From on-field sledging to ‘brain fade’ incident, this series will be remembered for the years to come.

Soon, after KL Rahul struck the winning run, social media platforms including Twitter were flooded with congratulatory messages praising the Indian side. Cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Michael Clarke, Rohit Sharma and others extended their wishes too but the one who maintained his class of humour and looked different, as always, was Virender Sehwag.

Viru Paaji in a series of tweets announced awards to the players and termed it as ‘#ViruGhareluAwards’. And, the names of the awards will make you laugh until your stomach starts to hurt.

On Twitter, he wrote,”The home season comes to an end and it’s time for #ViruGhareluAwards”. Here are the list of players:

Cheteshwar Pujara – Inverter, Ravindra Jadeja – TulluPump, KL Rahul – Stabilizer, Steven Smith – Tubelight

Wriddhiman Saha- Channi, Peter Handscomb -Joon Kangi, Umesh Yadav – Sansi, Virat Kohli – Holder Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane -Desert Cooler, Kuldeep Yadav -Exhaust

In addition, Viru Paaji also posted pictures of a Tulu Pump, dish holder and a head lice removing comb. And lastly, he wrote,”Congratulations Bharat on a wonderful season. Only Chuna in Puna. Great effort @anilkumble1074 in ensuring no complacency.”

We must say, the Indian players would be more than happy to receive these honours from Viru Paaji but it’s hard to be sure about Peter Handscomb who received a comb which is used to remove head lice from hairs. Well, he definitely coined a way to congratulate the winning side and no doubt he proved it yet another time that he is unbeatable!
