Just one day to go when team India will be facing their English opponents under Virat Kohli’s captaincy in the first game of the ODI series in Pune, the team has eventually found a new seamer in the squad. And he is none other than our former captain MS Dhoni.
Dhoni, who surprised his fans across the globe after stepping down from the limited overs captaincy, was seen bowling to batsman Manish Pandey during the net session at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on January 14.
The Indian squad had arrived here on January 12. This will be India’s first ODI game of 2017 under the newly appointed captain Virat Kohli. Apart from Dhoni, all other members, including comeback batsman Yuvraj Singh, were also seen practicing hard in the net sessions.
