Daddy to a lovely little girl, cricketer MS Dhoni recently sat down cross-legged with Rising Pune Supergiant teammate Imran Tahir at the airport. Reason? To play with a toy car with Tahir’s son. The ongoing VIVO IPL 2017 series involves a lot of travelling and players arguably spend as much time playing as they do flying to and from airports. The Instagram account of Rising Pune Supergiant shared this cute Boomerang video of the two playing on the floor much to the internet’s delight.
The 35-year-old former Indian team captain has found a fan in both the South African spinner, and his son. The 38-year-old Tamhit whose T20 career has been exceptional has been pretty vocal about his love for MSD.
Of his relationship with Dhoni and his experience playing with the RPG, Tahir was quoted as saying: “. I am sure it is every cricketer’s dream to play with MS Dhoni. It’s a great opportunity. Thanks to IPL, I got into Pune and am playing with him. It’s going really well with him and I hope it carries on.”
Fans of the player in the meantime are pretty gaga over their idol’s simplicity and his ease with a toddler. Captain Cool as well as Daddy Cool? Twitter says yes.
