Sachin Tendulkar has ruled the cricketing world for two decades and entertained all the generations with his spirited, record-breaking batting. But after his retirement, the focus shifts to his son, Arjun Tendulkar who is more of an all-rounder. His video of bowling in the nets of MCC, Lords has been making rounds on the internet. In the video, he can be seen bowling left-arm pace followed by batting against the spinners. But, this is not the first time Arjun has practised at MCC, Lords. Last time around he practised there and the video went viral in 2015.
Unlike his father, Arjun is a left-handed batsman and is on his way to becoming a lethal left-arm fast bowler. But Arjun does open the innings for his team. He came under limelight after hitting a century for Mumbai Cricket Association’s Under-14 trials. His selection was also questioned but later on, it was substantiated with facts and statistics.

However, it has happened often that the sons of legendary players have not done well in international cricket for India. There’s much pressure on him being the son of a legendary batsman who inspired millions. In the recently released blockbuster, ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ there has been videos of Sachin teaching his son how to play.
It seems like Sachin as got his son’s back, in an interview with PTI, he said, “I want my children to be judged as individuals. I had the freedom to express myself and chase my dreams. That’s what I want to do with my children. It is not fair to say that my son has to play cricket and my daughter has to do something… It’s their life. What I expect from people is to give them the freedom to express themselves.”
