Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was yet again attacked by Twitter trolls following her visit to the Indian High Commission along with the Indian cricket team. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a picture of the team’s visit on their official Twitter account on August 8.
Twitterati lost their cool after they noticed that Anushka was the only family member of a cricketer to feature in the picture.
Here’s the picture tweeted by BCCI:

Twitterati questioned why the Bollywood actress was a part of the formal meeting involving the members of the Indian cricket team where no other cricketer’s spouse, barring her, was present.
Some of the fans even questioned BCCI’s policy of allowing wives to accompany players during overseas tour.
Here are some the reactions:
Vice captain is in last row and First Lady of Indian cricket is in front row. These people giving lecture online few days back. @AnushkaSharma

No Hard feelings but I heard recently BCCI denied players from having their wives around when on tour in England. WTH is Anushka doing among Indian team?? Rules are meant for Team and captain should lead from front in every aspect. Just saying

Earlier on July 30, BCCI decided to impose a 14-day window for WAGS to stay with Indian cricketers in order to reduce their supposed impact on cricketers’ performance during foreign tours.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli & Co. would be hoping to bounce back in the second Test match after bowing down to hosts England in the first game.
England is now leading the five match Test series 1-0. The second Test match will kick-start on August 9 at Lord’s.
