Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has come up in her support of the Indian women’s team skipper Mithali Raj and slammed the people who trolled for her for her outfit on Twitter a few days ago. A few days ago, Mithali Raj took to her official Twitter handle to share an image of an old photo shoot as a throwback. Right after she shared the picture, many of followers started giving her advice on what she should wear in public.
The so-called pseudo-moral people started urging the Indian women’s captain that she should follow proper dressing style as many people idolise her while some one told her not be so glamorous as she is a cricketer, not a film star.
Days after this incident, Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat, cousin of Geeta Phogat, came forward to lash out on those who tried to teach Mithali the proper Indian fashion. Vinesh took to her official Twitter account and extended her support to Mithali. She wrote, “Why is it that only women are always questioned on what they wear. Why not men?? When will this change? #everydaysexism #MithaliRaj.”

It has become a trend now to troll the cricketers on their posts they share on social media. Earlier, Indian men cricketers like Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Kaif had faced a huge criticism as their followers made certain derogatory comments and even called them non-Islamic.
