The bowling attack may have not been as ferocious as we’re likely to see in the Indian Premier League (IPL), but hitting a six with a reverse-sweep under any condition isn’t easy. Yuvraj Singh, India’s World Cup 2011 hero, is prepping for the 12th edition of IPL and in a recent friendly match, where Yuvraj played for Air India against a Maldives team, his prep showed.
The charismatic left-handed batsman hit the reverse-sweep over the deep backward square boundary, despite the right-arm offspinner bowling round the wicket.

The 37-year-old will be playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) in this IPL. In IPL 2019 auction, the Punjab batsman reduced his base price to Rs 1 crore and was picked by MI in the last round.
The T20 league might be his last chance to get into the list of probables for the upcoming World Cup. He had a forgettable tournament in the previous IPL playing for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). But the ‘most expensive player in IPL auction history’ has a point to prove in Rohit Sharma-led MI’s middle order.
