Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has been criticised for his shady tackling on the ground of late. Ramos injuring Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah’s shoulder in the final of UEFA Champions League 2018 was one of the most-talked about moments of the year. But it seems like Ramos has found his match in Atletico Madrid’s new recruit Diego Costa.
In the UEFA Super Cup final, Costa wreaked havoc on Real Madrid by scoring twice in the match. The former Chelsea star opened the scoring in the first minute and scored the equaliser in the 79th minute to take the game into extra time.
But it was in the 64th minute, Costa went head-on against Ramos. In the follow through, it almost looked like that Costa kicked Ramos in the head.

This was Real Madrid’s first final without their star forward Cristiano Ronaldo and manager Zinedine Zidane. Under Zidane, Real had never conceded four goals in a match. It seems like tough times are ahead for the Spanish giant in La Liga.
