An inexperienced Indian side showed heart against the USA players but could not do much. They will have to do a lot more in the next two group stages game to make this tournament memorable.
Ghana started with a win over Colombia by 1-0. New Zealand and Turkey drew the match by 1-1. Whereas Paraguay stunned Mali by winning the match by 3-2.
