On Day 2, Brazil beat Spain by 2-1 in their first match. Everyone had their eyes glued to this clash as two footballing giants took on each other. Brazil emerged victoriously in the end and started their campaign with a win.

The Germany vs Costa Rica clash was also a nail-biting affair. Germany edged past Costa Rica in the final few minutes as they scored the match-winner. Germany won their first match in the tournament by 2-1.

Earlier on Day 1, India did not get the best of the starts to the tournament as they were outclassed by the USA. They lost the match by 3-0. India will be testing their luck again on Day 4 of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup 2017 when they play at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi against Colombia.
