The much-awaited All Stars versus All Hearts has finally got underway in Mumbai. Within the first 6 minutes, former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni opened the scoring with a David Beckham like a goal from 30 yards, just outside the de box. This is the third time in the history that the Celebrity Classico is taking place. Last time the two teams met the scoreline was 2-2. Virat Kohli in an interview ahead of the game said that they were not happy with the scoreline last time around. He also revealed that not MS Dhoni but Manish Pandey was the best footballer. In the initial part of the match was dominated by the All Stars.

Soon there was a surprise as MS Dhoni left the pitch after scoring a goal. MS Dhoni, as his biopic showed, was initially a footballer turned cricketer. Hence, his first love happens to be football and that is a known fact and he showed just why. The goal must have reminded football fans across the world of David Beckham, who specialised at taking long kicks and range shots.

The goal scored by Dhoni gave All Stars the lead, but also sent Twitter and social media in a tizzy.
