Hardik Pandya showcases dance moves on South African traditional drum ahead of 5th ODI

After a heart-warming welcome, Team India would look forward to script history by winning the first-ever ODI series on the South African soil

After losing the Pink ODI by 5 wickets, Virat Kohli and Co reached Port Elizabeth where the 5th ODI will be played on February 13. In the previous game, firstly the rain and thunder played spoilsport and then a missed catch and an unwanted no-ball restricted the Indians to defeat the Proteas for the first in a Pink ODI. Though they missed a good chance to scrip history in Durban, they still lead the rubber by 3-1. And the way they were welcomed in a new city ahead of their next game would probably help them ease their minds.

The Men in Blue received a musical welcome while entering the team hotel in Port Elizabeth. A few musicians stood at the gate who played the drums and sung song to welcome Virat Kohli and his boys.

In the video, the Indian players could be seen enjoying this way of welcome. Some of them swayed their heads to the music while Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t miss the chance to capture the moment in camera. Hardik Pandya seemed to be enjoying the traditional South African music the most as he couldn’t resist himself from doing some dance moves.

Their track record on this ground is extremely poor. India have played 4 matches in Port Elizabeth and lost them all. However, after such a heart-warming welcome, Team India would be looking forward to scripting history by winning their first-ever ODI series on the South African soil.
