Afghanistan CANCELS all games against Pakistan post Kabul attack

Afghanistan cricket board: Pakistan was supposed to lock horns with neighbours Afghanistan later this year in a T20 International

Afghanista, a small nation compared to their supposed big brother Pakistan have cancelled all their games against Pakistan following the recent Kabul attack that devastated Kabul. Earlier in the day, Aamer Sohail, former Pakistan cricketer also provoked India by saying that India have been soft on cricket. Apparently 80 people were killed in the Kabul attack. Pakistan was blamed by the country’s intelligence agency on militants allegedly backed by Islamabad.

Pakistan was supposed to lock horns with neighbours Afghanistan later this year in a T20 International. This would be a big setback for Pakistan at the global stage as they are already not playing with India on a regular basis and this is set to stump their revenues, for certain.

No group has officially claimed responsibility for the attacks and Taliban has already denied it. This is a slap on the face of Pakistan, whose duplicity has been caught over and over again and they still stay in denial mode. It is still to be seen if India plays Pakistan on Sunday or not on the high-octane ICC Champions Trophy clash.

India on the other hand would be defending their ICC Champions Trophy title this time round, which they won in 2013. Pakistan is a depleted unit as Umar Akmal, a key cog in their wheel missed out on the fitness test.

This is what Aamer Sohail earlier said:
