Haris Sohail, who is in the team after Umar Akmal failed a couple of fitness tests and had to be chucked out of the team. Well, Umar Akmal has already apologized to his fans for failing the test. Well, once the Akmal news was out it was to the PCB to decide his cover. Haris Sohail, who is comparatively under-experienced gets a chance to play for his team and he says”that is like a dream come true.”
The Pakistani cricketer in an interview to the Express Tribune said, “Every player wishes to perform well against India. If I get a chance to play against India, I will surely try my best to put up a good performance against them.”

In the 22 ODIs he has played for Pakistan, Haris has scored 774 runs at an average of 43 with a strike rate of 82.86
He would be making a comeback into the national side after 2 years, would hope to cement his place in the national squad.
The period of injury was tough enough as a sportsman, but I didn’t compromised on hard work and kept my motivation for comeback strong.

He also in the interview said, “When I heard I am selected I felt like it was my debut again, the feeling is exactly the same. I have put in a lot of hardwork when I was sitting out and I hope that will pay dividends in the future.”
