Young Pakistan cricketer Imam-ul-Haq, the nephew of Inzamam-ul-Haq, has made a shocking revelation, claiming to have received 300-400 messages from his female fans. The 22-year old burst onto the international scene in an emphatic fashion with a hundred on debut and is only the second Pakistan cricketer and the 13th overall to score a hundred on ODI debut. The Lahore born has played a good amount of first-class cricket, where he has also been successful. The youngster also has the highest score of 200 not out in domestic cricket, which highlights his appetite and hunger for runs.
“After I scored the century I received calls and messages of congratulations from around 300-400 female fans. My social media was [flooded]. Finally, I switched off my mobile internet,” laughed Imam, as he spoke to Geo News ahead of the fifth and final ODI.
He also spoke about his dream, saying, “In any format, I want to win a World Cup for my team. It’s my childhood dream.”
The cricketer is also very particular about his diet and does not compromises on it. “My mother cooks for me but I don’t eat [the food] and that annoys her,” he said.
